Canadians Shafted on Justice

This is from the New York Times Quote of the Day:

"We brought those cases because we realized that the truth is the engine of our judicial system."PATRICK J. FITZGERALD, the special counsel in the C.I.A. leak inquiry.

(I wonder what the engine of the Canadian judicial system is? I have some thoughts...)

Update Oct 29: Investigation focuses on cover-up - NYTimes

Update 1:46 pm: Lewis "Scooter" Libby, Vice President Cheney's chief of staff, indicted by grand jury on charges of obstruction of justice, making false statements and perjury in CIA leak probe. - CNN

This is how serious Americans take their lawbreaking. Government officials close to Bush are facing possible criminal charges for disclosing the identity of an undercover CIA agent - CBC

What do Canadians get even though there are criminal laws written specifically for officials of the government? Allegations of misconduct for those politicians who are deemed to have "pristine reputations"?

Misconduct? What the hell is that ? This isn't a hockey game this is running a damn country and it's being run into the ground.
