Gomery Hears of Intimidation

Relayed from a CPAC broadcast, Daniel Dezainde was told by Jacques Couriveau that he had set up a kick-back scheme in which money was funneled back to the Liberal Party. When Dezainde tried to stop the scheme he felt threatened.

Daniel Dezainde explained to Justice Gomery that he felt threatened by Joe Morselli when Morselli pointed his finger and yelled at him for not keeping on Beryl Wajsman, an associate of Morselli's.

Dezainde was concerned enough to contact Alphonso Gagliano and explain to him what happened. Gagliano tried to justify Morselli reaction by telling Dezainde that [Morselli] got carried away, that he was quick to temper and he's angry because of Wajsman losing his job.

Afterward Dezainde checked his insurance policy because he percieved that something would happen to him after the encounter with Morselli.
