NDP Not Far From the Liberal Tree

Even though the New Democratic Party views tonight’s vote as a non-confidence vote not based on the budget, they are still going to support the Liberal government.

NDP MP Libby Davies said to CTV News: "We do view it as a confidence issue," she
said. But her party is sticking with its deal to keep voting with the Liberals,
however, "as long as there's good faith in getting that budget through."
So part of the NDP’s reasons to support a corrupt government is to put in place guarantees in the budget to secure funding for public transit, for example. I have spoken to ‘NDP’ MP Joe Comartin about public transit in Windsor, having to quit employment because the City of Windsor chooses not to consider that individuals need public transit to get to work outside of the City’s limits if they do not own a car.
Instead, Mr. Comartin pushed labour rhetoric which came across as propaganda than really caring about the transit situation in Windsor. I have maintained that Mr. Comartin does not represent the NDP. Rather, he is the mouthpiece of the Canadian Auto Workers Union.
Having applied to sit on the Transit Windsor Committee because no one sat on this committee who represented transit users, I learned that two representatives for labour and the Chamber of Commerce were selected to sit on the board. One of the labour representatives was Ken Lewenza Jr., a city counselor elected in my riding and son of Ken Lewenza Sr., President of the Windsor chapter of the C.A.W.
When I had contacted Junior to find out why individuals, who did not even use the transit system, were appointed to sit on the committee, I was told that the C.A.W donates $50,000 to Transit Windsor for the services they give to Windsor residents on the night of the International Freedom Festival’s fire works display. When I asked him if labour was bought their position on the Transit Committee, he attempted to back track.
No one in labour has a need for the use of transit since most of them have cars. The only other reason I can think of to have so much labour on a public transit system is to influence decisions that are not in the best interests of those who use public transit. The rumour in Windsor is that labour is controlling the lack of good public transit, including extended service because they want to Windsorites to buy cars to transport themselves. Paying to appointments to committees certainly doesn't alleviate these rumours, not to mention that the City of Windsor has a potential conflict of interest on its hands.

So if Buzz Hargrove, President of the C.A.W was in the motel room writing his wishes on toilet paper and his members pretending they care about public transit for the public and instead are getting appointments to office by paying for it, then how is that different from what the Liberals have done?

As I have said before birds of a feather . . .
