A Miscarraige of Justice?

B.C. Supreme Court judge Mr. Justice Ian Josephson acquitted Ripudaman Singh Malik and Ajaib Singh Bagri on eight charges related to the bombing of Air India Flight 182 on June 22, 1985. The C.B.C has excellent in depth coverage and historical documentation.

I guess this judge was appointed to the bench based on merit? I wonder how much money he donated to the governing party before he was appointed? I wonder if he was paid off to influence his decision?
